Tony Duffy Engineering Ltd. (TDEL) is a family owned and operated company with over 30 years experience of the Irish road maintenance. Based in Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow and combining extensive experience with state of the art machinery and technology, TDEL offers Irish local authorities, general contractors and private customers a wide range of cost effective solutions, whatever their surfacing needs. Environmental
With ISO accreditations to ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance, 14001 (Environmental Management) and 18001 (Health & Safety), TDEL obviously takes quality performance and sustainability very seriously indeed. Offering road maintenance techniques that minimise the use of virgin materials and minimises waste, TDEL’s product range offers environmentally efficient solutions for every road maintenance project.

Contracting
Surface Dressing - Using latest technology combination units which both spray and chip simultaneously, with volumes computer controlled to get the job right first time,  TDEL has a range of machinery for all types of site conditions, large or small, with highly trained and experienced operators ensuring top quality work every time.

Recycling – Stressed local authority budgets go further when existing worn road pavements are put to best use. Recycling, with or without the addition of virgin materials, re-uses the existing road structure, thereby reducing the total weight of construction on poor sub-bases, thereby saving valuable resources and providing a technical advantage in one. Bitumen binder can also be added for extra strength.

Paving – TDEL operates paving crews for road construction and surfacing using crushed or hot-mix or sometimes in combination with the recycling machine to give a superior riding quality to the newly finished road.

With many machinery patents to his name, TDEL proprietor Tony Duffy knows machinery and process control equipment inside and out. Marketing a range of his own and as the sole Irish distributor for leading European brand Secmair, TDEL leads the way as a supplier of high-tech surface dressing equipment.
